Come Be Wrapped in Love
Wrapped in Love is a friendly group of women AND men who meet a couple of hours each week to work on crafts and socialize. Most of our projects are blankets made for donation to local charities. But we also work on projects for members and parishioners who are in need.
Please Donate! Our results depend upon YOUR generosity. All materials for our handicrafts are purchased through parishioner donations to St. Therese Parish. Direct them to "Wrapped in Love". Thank you for your support.
Who can join? It is open to anyone — not just St. Therese parishioners. No skills needed.
When Do We Meet?
Wednesdays, 10:00 to 12:00 pm (check the parish calendar for the next date). Call Flo Helms 619-582-5229 or just show up!
Where?

What happens at the St. Therese Wrapped in Love Ministry meetings? We chat, knit, crochet, sew and work on fleece blankets (or learn any of these skills). There's a lot of laughter, sharing and socializing.

Where Do Our Handcrafted Creations and Donations Go?
Many local charities receive the fruits of our creative labor. We have made blankets for homeless vets for the Zephyr Project in Grantville as seen in this NBC 7 news video. Other groups who've received our creations include:
-
The Salvation Army Door of Hope
-
Catholic Charities Immigration Services
-
The Trinitarian Sisters Orphanage in Tecate
-
The Alpha Project Tent City
-
Military YMCA
-
Ronald McDonald House
We also recently delivered 17 flannel baby blankets, hats, and booties to the Life Choices Pregnancy Center in Poway.
