Welcome, all adult Catholic men!  Become a member of our Catholic Men's Service organization and strengthen your faith through action. We work together to support the Church, St. Therese Parish, and our local San Diego community through service and prayer. As members of the world-wide Knights of Columbus community, we also help with national and international initiatives that put our faith into action wherever it's needed.

In the New Testament Epistle of James chapter 2, it says that if we say we have faith but do not prove it by our good works, our faith is dead.  The Knights of Columbus Council 7792, St. Therese Parish provides you the opportunity to bring your faith alive by doing good for others.

What Do The Knights of Columbus Do at St. Therese?

The Knights strive to strengthen our spiritual relationship with God through many actions both individually and collectively.

Some of the recent and ongoing group projects that we have been helping with are:

  • Restoring the Church Bell Tower

  • Renovating all the stain glass in the church building,

  • Reroofing of the church,

  • Replacement of the main sewer line

  • Management of auditing of the parish 501c3

  • Assisting with RCIA

As a Council, our members are involved in most ministries within the Parish:

  • We help with the parish clean-ups and landscape maintenance

  • We provide a scholarship each year to a graduating 8th grader from the St. Therese Academy who wants to continue with their Catholic education

  • Most of the ushers are Knights

  • The Knights count the collections for the parish

  • The Knights organize various fund-raising efforts throughout the year, such as BBQ's, Lenten soup suppers, and recycling events, as well as support other charitable organizations

  • The Knights raise money specifically to provide help to seminarians

  • The Knights host Sunday Hospitality after the Sunday masses

  • We strive to pray often. All Knights have a rosary

  • And last, but certainly not least, we make being at Mass regularly a high priority in our lives

The Knights do all these things to strengthen our spiritual relationship with God and to serve others.

Come join us! Serve God and serve others in accord with Jesus' summary of the Commandments, “Love God with your whole being, and love others as yourself”.
