Small Church Communities (SCC’s) are groups which gather in homes to share their life and faith on a regular basis in order to grow in their commitment to Christian discipleship. SCC’s set their own schedule for meetings based on the needs of the group.
It seems timely to form ecclesial communities of a size that allow for true human relationships (in) the parish to which such groups belong. In such a human context, it will be easier to gather to hear the Word of God, to reflect on the range of human problems in the light of this Word, and gradually to make responsible decisions inspired by the all-embracing love of Christ. Contact the Ministry Center (619) 286-4605 if you are interested in forming a group or joining an existing group. We offer training & support for pastoral facilitators and an annual retreat to experience faith-sharing firsthand.
