Rachel's Hope

Rachel’s Hope is an organization for Catholic (or Catholic-friendly) women and men dealing with the trauma of post-abortion healing. 

Rachel's Hope is a safe place to renew, rebuild and redeem hearts broken by abortion. You will find a supportive, confidential and non-judgmental environment where women and men can express, release and reconcile painful post-abortive emotions to begin the process of restoration, renewal and healing.

Rachel refers to an old testament figure who was written about in the book of Jeremiah.

Thus says the Lord:
In Ramah is heard the sound of moaning, of bitter weeping!
Rachel mourns her children,
she refuses to be consoled because her children are no more.
Thus says the Lord:
Cease your cries of mourning, wipe the tears from your eyes.
The sorrow you have shown shall have its reward, says the Lord.
There is hope for your future!
