Why Get Involved (I go to mass, isn't that enough)

You will begin to really feel like part of God’s family.

Most people who have been a part of a ministry or group say the greatest benefit is the close relationships and friendships that develop. You’ll discover that your needs and desires are not

unique - we’re all in the same boat. Many people in our church community have shared that the support of their particular church group of friends made their own lives richer or profoundly helped them through a difficult time.  In the New Testament the phrase "one another" is used to describe our relationship as church. We are instructed to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, accept one another, bear one another’s burdens, and build up one another.  We really do need each other. God never meant for you to go it alone in the Christian life.

God has gifted you for the sake of others in His body!

You will deepen your appreciation of the Eucharist – which means thanksgiving.
