Altar Servers

Altar Servers assist the celebrant during Sunday mass and special liturgies. Altar servers also work with the sacristan or liturgy coordinator for each mass to help set up for mass and assist after mass with the clearing of the items used during the liturgy.

You need an interest in assisting at Mass, and availability to assist once or twice monthly. Servers must dress and participate in a reverent fashion. Some familiarity with the Order of the Mass is very helpful.

Training is provided as needed for new servers, and special liturgical seasons may have special training sessions. 

We welcome boys and girls 4th grade and up.  High School youth and parent/child teams are welcome and encouraged to participate!  Adults, particularly those available to assist weekday funerals, are also welcome.
