Small Church Communities

Why Join a Small Church Community?

1. You will deepen your understanding of the scriptures better in a small group.

2. You will begin to really feel like part of God’s family.

3. Prayer will become easier and more meaningful to you.

4.  You will develop skills you never knew you had!

5. You will deepen your appreciation of the Eucharist – which means thanksgiving.

While our main worship is on Sunday morning in a large group setting with a homily, a choir, and an offering, worship can happen anytime we focus on God with a thankful heart. Sometimes that happens best in a smaller group as we become more mindful of God’s goodness, God’s faithfulness, God’s presence in our lives. Together on a more intimate level, we begin to recognize the reality of the Body of Christ. What we experience in our small communities directly impacts our Sunday experience!  And it’s exactly what those first believers were all about…

"They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Every day they continued to meet together... they broke bread in their homes and ate together... and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:42, 44, 46-47
